Four months of Avery

My little Angel is now four months old and I can't believe how time has just flown by. I can't believe the love and joy she has brought to Mike and I in such a short time. Today she had her four month wellness check at the Dr.'s and also had to get her shot's awwwww, poor baby. She did really well and only cried after the 2nd shot. She finally weights 12lbs (WAHOOOO-LOL)she is only 16% on the chart for weight and she is 25in long, 78% on the chart. So the doctor basically said she is very happy, healthy and tall and skinny! =) Does a mommy's heart good! She talks all day long, it's the cutest thing ever and she loves sitting in and playing with her excersaucer.

Riley's Visit part 2

And our adventures continue........
So our next stop was to the gateway for a cool off and to build a bear for a new friend for each of our girls. We had a great time

Riley loves wolves and was so excited to get a wolf build a bear... She named him/her fluffy and put skateboarder clothes on it. She wanted it to be a boy first but when the checkout lady offered her bows for the ears she changed her mind and wanted it to be a girl.

Putting the heart in her bunny "floppy"

Floppy getting stuffed....

We continued our adventure at the gateway fountain to cool off before heading over to wheeler farm for some country action.
RUN.........lol

Avery liked the mist that cooled her off.

We headed over to Wheeler Farm and enjoyed the beautiful scenery that was all around. It was a nice slow pace and was free (the best part) other than the wagon ride and to milk the cow which was only 50 cents. Can't beat that.

Just hangin out in the tree's

Having fun on our wagon ride

Petting the new baby cow. She came right to us, soooo cute.

Riley milking the cow, she was so brave. She was afraid the cow would kick and get her but she was a champ and milked it anyway.

Even Daddy got caught up in the tree climbing action.

Riley's Visit 2010

So Riley finally got here and we were soooo excited to see her and finally let her meet her little sister Avery. It felt really good to have our family all together and in one place. We did alot of activities for the last month while she was here. It's like one huge summer vacation. We try to get in a year's worth of activities and fun in just the short time we have her with us. It's not the best way and we would prefer to spread it out but that isn't our option so we really enjoy our time and create a lot of memories with her. Luckily Mike had worked some extra hours and set money aside for this cuz it just isn't happening with me staying home now.

Here are some photo's of the various activities that we did while she was here. I think I had a better time some times that she did, this is what I have waited for my entire life to just have my family and to create some fun and lasting memories of being together and having a great time.

Riley meeting Avery for the first time.... Avery not sure what is going on. LOL

Riley lost a tooth just after getting here... the tooth fairy must have been on drugs at the time because she got a ten dollar bill for her tooth. Ashley said she would be bringing some teeth over the next night since the tooth fairy was so generous...lol. After asking Riley what she got when the first tooth fell out and her reply of two dollars the "tooth fairy" was fully educated on the abundance of his gift. LOL

The girls just hanging out with dad and getting to know each other.

So one of Riley's favorite places has always been chuck e cheese ( I hate that place) so of course we had to go. Avery even got into the action. They were so excited to see the cheese himself.

Mike trying to choke down the pizza at this place...lol

Riley is like a fish. She loves the water and loves to go swimming so we make one of our stops always the water park. I love the Kearns water park because it's cheap and you can bring in your own food and drinks. We had a great time and gave Avery another chance at testing the water.

The Water Park....

So I took Avery to the waterpark with Shauna and the kids and we had a great time. Avery however didn't think it was that great at first. I think it was a little cold on her feet. She didn't go in all the way but the feet was enough.

Not sure what to think about all these people!

Feeling a little better while warming up.

So after a nap we decided to try again. The verdict...... not so bad this time around. She warmed up to the water and mommy got some sun. Yeah!!!!! It was a fun exciting day.

Family Camping....What Fun!!

So finally I've found some time (instead of sleeping) to update the family blog. We all went out to the Uinta's for some good ol' camping fun. Here are some of my views of the camping trip. Beyond getting eatin alive from the mosquito's.

Our trusty new tent- Avery did suprisingly well =)

Daddy and Avery having a good time!

Taking a walk and loving the sun!
