I'm totally overwhelmed with gratitude, happiness and love right now. I had my second ultrasound today- this one with a specialist who checks out the baby for chromozone issues (due to my age...no comments please =D). The ultrasound tech came in and started and said everything looks normal and that Avery is growing just as she should be. She measures at 22weeks and 6days but her legs measure at 24 weeks.... of course they do I get to give birth to a giant like the rest of the family =)! As we were watching the ultrasound tech noticed that Avery had the hiccups so we sat and watched.... sooo cute!!! Her little legs were folded indian style for a while until we shook my belly and got her to move some more. She is definately a girl, and she is moving all over the place!! It was a special day due to it being Mike's birthday and we being able to see our baby and know that she is healthy and growing just as she should be. The doctor gave us great news and said everything looks great and that he would do another ultrasound at 32-33weeks just to reassure us that she is healthy and no worries for downs. I know I may be bias but dang she is sure cute!! =D!
I think that I can see the point on the top of the ears on that little elf ruler :) lol
